This week marks National Road Safety Week – a nationwide initiative focused on encouraging all Australians to make safer choices on our roads.

Simple actions can make a significant difference:
– Slow down and follow posted speed limits
– Avoid distractions, including mobile phone use while driving
– Leave enough distance between vehicles
– Follow directions from traffic controllers and onsite signage
– Drive to the conditions
– Never drive fatigued or under the influence
For road workers and traffic management crews, every sign, cone and barrier is there to help ensure everyone gets home safely at the end of the day.
