LGC Traffic Management has announced the acquisition of CB Traffic Solutions, an established Bunbury-based traffic management provider, with the transaction taking effect from 1 July 2026.
The acquisition will see approximately 200 employees join the LGC team and significantly strengthen the company’s presence across regional Western Australia. The combined business will operate from locations in Perth, Mandurah, Bunbury, Albany, Karratha, Busselton, Margaret River, Esperance, Corrigin and Northam.
The transaction will increase LGC’s workforce to more than 800 employees and a fleet of over 400 vehicles, further strengthening the company’s ability to support customers across metropolitan and regional Western Australia.
Founded in 2014 by Max Line, LGC Traffic Management has grown into one of Western Australia’s leading traffic management providers, supporting major infrastructure, construction, utilities, rail and government projects across the state.
The acquisition represents a significant investment in regional Western Australia and reinforces LGC’s long-term commitment to supporting regional communities, customers and projects throughout the state.
LGC Traffic Management Director, Max Line, said the acquisition brings together two businesses that share a strong commitment to safety, service and supporting local communities.
“CB Traffic Solutions has built a highly respected business, supported by an experienced team and strong customer relationships throughout regional Western Australia,” Mr Line said.
“We’re excited to welcome approximately 200 employees to the LGC team and build on the strong foundations already established throughout regional Western Australia.
“The South West continues to play an important role in Western Australia’s economy, and this acquisition reflects our confidence in the region and our commitment to supporting the communities, industries and projects that drive it.
“By bringing together the experience and local knowledge of both organisations, we will be better positioned to support customers across regional and metropolitan Western Australia while creating new opportunities for our people.”
Customers can expect business as usual throughout the transition, with no interruption to existing services.
LGC Traffic Management will work closely with customers, employees and stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition while continuing to deliver the high standards of safety and service both businesses are known for.
Customers will benefit from the combined expertise, expanded service network and statewide reach of the enlarged organisation.
